Праці

Математика не була єдиним предметом його інтересів. Не менш, ніж вона, цікавили його богослов'я і філософія, яким він і присвятив деякі зі своїх творів:

• "Summat. of slowly converg. and diverg. infin. series" (VI і VII, 1835 );
• "Determination of X2 in the application of Sturm 's theorem" (VII);
• "Analyt. investig. of Wallace ' s property of the parabola" ( XI);
• "Modern skepticism" (1865). Першою з'явилася в пресі статті Юнга з математики була поміщена в "Philosophical Magazine" "Development of trigon. Funct." (V, 1834). У тому ж журналі з'явилися потім ще наступні статті і мемуари Юнга:

Юнгом належать також вирішення багатьох завдань і питань на особливі випадки рівнянь 2-й, 3-й і 4-го ступенів з одним і багатьма невідомими, на трикутники, чотирикутники і багатокутники, на конічні перетину в елементарному викладі і на геометричні місця. Ці рішення містилися їм в 1879-1882 рр.. в "Educational Times". Творами Юнга, що вийшли у вигляді окремих видань, були:

• "Course of elem. mathematics "(2-е вид., 640 стор, Лондон, 1862);
